Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the game “Krugona Arena” (“Service”).
Krugona Arena is provided by Evgeny Knoblokh, an individual based in Thailand, under the Knoblabs brand. Visits to this website are covered separately by Website Privacy and Cookies & browser storage.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Data
- Automatically generated guest account identifier. Even without a real name, account and device identifiers can be personal data.
- If you sign in with Google Play Games Services (Android, optional):
- Play Games player ID
- Play Games display name (used as your in-game nickname)
Game sign-in does not provide us with your email address. If you email support, we receive your address and the information you choose to include so that we can respond.
1.2 Gameplay Data
- Progress, scores, levels
- Match history and statistics
- Daily missions, daily challenges, and booster state
- In-game actions and events
1.3 Technical Data
- Device type
- Operating system
- IP address (approximate location)
- Browser type (for web version)
- Device language and timezone
- Server request logs, including IP addresses, and sign-in or account-linking events
- Last activity and notification delivery timestamps
- Push notification token (Android, only if notifications are enabled)
- Crash reports (device info and error details)
- Advertising ID (Android, for advertising — see section 10)
2. How We Use Data
We use data to:
- Provide access to the Service
- Save user progress
- Operate backend services (PocketBase)
- Send push notifications (Android, optional — see section 11)
- Diagnose crashes and errors
- Improve gameplay and balance
- Prevent abuse and cheating
3. Legal Basis (GDPR)
We process personal data based on:
- Contract — to provide the Service
- Legitimate interests — maintaining security, preventing fraud and responding to support enquiries
- Consent where required — optional advertising or analytics that require consent under applicable law. Accepting these Terms or playing as a guest does not itself provide that consent.
4. Data Storage
Data is stored:
- On our servers (PocketBase backend hosted on a DigitalOcean Droplet in Singapore)
- In local storage on the user’s device
5. Data Retention
We store data:
- Until the user deletes their account, or
- As long as necessary to operate the Service
After deletion, data is permanently removed or anonymized within 30 days.
PocketBase request logs are configured for five-day retention. Automatic DigitalOcean Droplet backups are disabled. Separately, PocketBase backups are scheduled daily and retain the three most recent automatic copies. This rotation does not cover separately created maintenance archives or snapshots. Deleting an account from the active database does not immediately remove its data from existing backup archives.
6. Account Deletion
Users signed in with Google Play Games Services can delete their account via in-game functionality (settings).
After deletion:
- The account, match history, and progress are permanently removed
- Restoration is not possible
For guest accounts, clearing app data removes the local copy but does not itself delete server records or data already received by service providers. See account and data deletion for instructions, including contacting support without access to the app.
7. Sharing of Data
We may share data with:
- DigitalOcean, LLC (hosting the PocketBase backend in Singapore)
- Google LLC (sign-in via Google Play Games Services, Android only)
- Google LLC (advertising via AdMob — shows rewarded video ads, may collect device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address)
- Google LLC (analytics via Firebase Analytics — collects app usage events, device info, session data)
- Google LLC (crash reporting via Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash and error reports, device info)
- Google LLC (push notification delivery via Firebase Cloud Messaging)
We do not sell personal data.
8. Children
The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
9. Cookies and Local Storage
We use local storage on your device to save game progress, settings, and cached data.
For the web version, we may also use:
- Cookies
- Device identifiers
10. Advertising
The Android version of the Service displays optional rewarded video ads provided by Google AdMob. Viewing ads is voluntary and rewarded with in-game bonuses.
AdMob may collect:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
- Device information
- IP address
- App usage data
For EU users, consent is requested before any advertising data is collected (via Google UMP Consent SDK).
To opt out of personalized ads, adjust your device settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

11. Push Notifications (Android)
If you enable notifications, we store a push notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging), your device language, and timezone to deliver and localize notifications.
Notifications are optional and can be disabled at any time in your device settings.
12. Security
We implement reasonable measures to protect data. However, no system is completely secure.
13. User Rights
Depending on jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR), users may:
- Request access to their data
- Request deletion of their data
- Request correction, restriction or portability where applicable
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent where processing relies on consent
- Complain to the relevant data protection authority
14. International Users
Service providers may process information outside your country. International processing remains subject to applicable legal requirements; using the game is not itself consent to an international transfer. See DigitalOcean’s Data Processing Agreement and Google’s data transfer information, or contact us about the arrangements relevant to your data.
