Cookies & browser storage
This page applies to every public page on knoblabs.com. Our website does not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers or third-party media embeds. There are no optional tracking categories to accept or reject.
Saved language
On pages with an EN / RU switch, selecting a language saves that preference in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is saved on a first visit unless you choose a language. Local storage is different from a cookie: the browser does not automatically attach it to page requests.

- Remember the language you explicitly selected on pages that offer it.
- Location
- This browser, on this device. The website does not send the saved value to us.
- Duration
- 180 days after your selection. The preference is ignored and removed on the next visit to a page that uses it after expiry. Viewing pages does not extend it.
The old language setting, which did not have an expiry date, is discarded when the updated language controls first read it. You can choose a language again to save a new preference.

Website security
Cloudflare delivers and protects the website. Depending on a security challenge or protection feature, it may set cookies needed for that feature. These are separate from our language preference and are not advertising cookies. Cloudflare explains its cookie names, purposes and lifetimes in its cookie documentation.
Clearing the saved language removes only that preference. To remove security cookies or other site data, use your browser’s settings; removing security cookies may cause another security check.
Apps and external links
The mobile apps have their own data practices. Reading an app’s page here does not start its analytics or advertising. See the product policies linked from our website privacy notice. External websites you open have their own controls.
If our website changes
If we introduce optional tracking that requires consent, we will provide a choice before it starts, including a way to reject it and later withdraw consent. The current website has no such tracking.
