Privacy Policy
Effective date: 8 September 2026
TrueGap is operated by Evgeny Knoblokh, an independent developer based in Thailand (“we”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the TrueGap mobile application and related website (the “Service”).
1. Information we process
We process only the information needed to operate TrueGap:
- Account data: your email address and account identifier. If you choose Google Sign-In, Google may provide your name, email address and profile image to identify your account.
- Your TrueGap content: prediction context, expectation, review date, actual result, reflection, and the dates and status needed to run the sealed-review flow.
- Device-local data: encrypted drafts, session information, and reminder preferences stored on your device. Local reminders are scheduled by your device; TrueGap does not currently use remote push notifications.
- Service and security data: limited technical logs and identifiers processed by our infrastructure providers to secure, operate and troubleshoot the Service.
2. Why we process it
- to create and secure your account;
- to save, seal, review and reveal your predictions;
- to schedule reminders you choose to enable;
- to respond to support requests, prevent abuse and keep the Service reliable; and
- to comply with legal obligations where applicable.
Where required by law, our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Service, your consent, and legal obligations.
3. Service providers
We use service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Supabase for authentication, database and backend infrastructure;
- Google when you choose Google Sign-In; and
- Resend to deliver sign-in emails.
These providers may process data in countries other than yours. We do not sell your personal data and do not currently use advertising SDKs, behavioural analytics SDKs, or third-party crash-reporting SDKs in TrueGap.
4. Retention and deletion
We keep account and prediction data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account from TrueGap Settings. Deletion removes your account, predictions and associated Service data; it cannot be undone. Provider backup copies may remain for a limited period under their ordinary retention processes.
See Delete account for the in-app deletion steps. You may also email us if you need help.
5. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to certain processing of your personal data. You may also withdraw consent for optional device notifications in your device settings. To make a request, email us at the address above.
6. Children
TrueGap is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Service or applicable rules change. If we add analytics, crash reporting, subscriptions, or other new data practices, we will update this Policy before enabling them. The effective date above shows the latest revision.
